RAD/VE & OC - Researcher & Consultant with Project Management experience, Lisbon
At IPS Innovative Prison Systems, we are looking for a Researcher and Consultant – with experience in transnational project management in the criminal justice area – to join the Radicalisation, Violent Extremism and Organised Crime (RAD/VE & OC) Portfolio.
Mandatory requirements:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Terrorism Studies, Political Science, Security Studies or Conflict Studies (or related field within the Criminology, International Relations, Sociology, or Psychology area);
- Minimum 2 years experience in EU-funded projects (incl. project management);
- Minimum 2 years experience in the field of P/CVE;
- Excellent command (at least C1 level) of English (both written and spoken);
- Comprehensive knowledge of P/CVE and EU policies;
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office apps and statistical analysis software tools;
- Availability to travel in Portugal and to the countries in which we operate;
- Unimpeachable work ethic (incl. personal and professional integrity).
Advantage conferring requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of different EU funding schemes' features (e.g., ISF, JUST, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+);
- Has carried out work/additional studies in the field of P/CVE or Organised Crime (e.g., scientific publications, project-related reports; master or PhD thesis);
- Experience in the field of P/CVE and Organised Crime;
- Experience in organising and implementing events (e.g., project meetings, workshops, trainings) with a wide range of stakeholders from the criminal justice (and adjacent) field(s);
- Experience in training stakeholders within the criminal justice field.
