RAD/VE & OC - Junior Researcher & Consultant, Lisbon
At IPS_Innovative Prison Systems, we are looking for a Junior Researcher & Consultant to join our Radicalisation, Violent Extremism and Organised Crime Portfolio (Lisbon office, Portugal). As part of our recruitment process, we are offering a 12-month internship (potentially followed by an employment contract). Recent graduates holding a master’s degree are strongly encouraged to apply.
Mandatory requirements:
- Master’s degree in Criminology (preferred), International Relations, Sociology or Psychology (or related field);
- Excellent command (at least C1 level) of English (both written and spoken);
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office apps and statistical analysis software tools;
- Availability to travel in Portugal and to the countries in which we operate;
- Unimpeachable work ethic (incl. personal and professional integrity).
Advantage conferring requirements:
- Have carried out work/additional studies in the field of P/CVE, CT or Organised Crime (e.g., scientific publications, master thesis);
- Have prior knowledge of P/CVE and CT concepts and EU policies;
- Fluency in an additional language (e.g., French, Spanish).
