PRACTICIES project: 3rd steering committee meeting held in Madrid
The third meeting of the PRACTICIES project – Partnership Against Violent Radicalisation in Cities – Steering Committee took place on 25 e 26 setembro 2019, at CETSE (Security Technology Center – Spanish Ministry of Interior) in Madrid, Espanha.
The meeting aimed to develop multi-level (local, regional, national and supranational) recommendations for policymakers.
The event was jointly organised by the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès (França), the Rey Juan Carlos Universidade (Espanha), the Spanish Ministry of Interior and the Madrid Municipal Police.
Participants included 35 members of the project consortium and 45 external stakeholders, from 14 países.
PRACTICIES mobilises networks of European cities, experts from the fields of humanities, political science, information technology, stakeholders and representatives of civil society aiming at better understanding the “human roots of radicalisation” in order to create concrete prevention tools and practices. The prevention and fight against all forms of extremism and radicalisation require the participation of all citizens and professionals in Europe.
PRACTICIES project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon H2020 research and innovation programme.
