Sales and Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies. This role requires a proactive individual who can confidently drive conversations, deliver compelling presentations, and manage customer relationships. Beyond direct contacts, this role also requires initiative in structuring the sales strategy, identifying and organising the participation in relevant industry events, and mapping out potential contacts and outreach channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Client Outreach & Engagement: Identify and connect with potential clients through strategic outreach efforts.
- Lead Generation: Assess client needs, present solutions, generate interest, and create the foundation for business partnerships.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate lead records and track performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Marketing Management: Plan online and event-based marketing campaigns, coordinate with creative teams to develop content, and manage campaign budgets and timelines.
- Networking & Events: Represent IPS at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our services and expand our network.
Required qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Business and Technology, or other relevant field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a sales-focused role, ideally in B2B, B2G, sales, or inside sales in the software/IT solutions industry.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable with structured sales processes, including scripts, call targets, and objection handling.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (experience with HubSpot preferred).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
Advantage conferring attributes:
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with public sector sales or government-related projects.
- Experience in the software/IT solutions industry.
