Bruna António is a researcher specialising in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) and democratic resilience, working at the intersection of international law, political science, and global governance. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, she has held policy and project management roles at various international organisations, including the Council of Europe, NATO, the European Union, and the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM).

Bruna holds a Master’s degree in Public, European, and International Law, specialising in terrorism, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

At IPS, Bruna is assigned to the Radicalisation, Violent Extremism and Organised Crime portfolio.
