RE[ENTER] on improving offender reintegration gets EU support Silvia Bernardo August 20, 2018

The RE[ENTER] project is aimed at strengthening the capacity of criminal justice professionals and volunteers in order to achieve better reintegration outcomes for offenders, both prisoners and ex-convicts.

This project focuses on the exchange of good practices concerning psychoeducational tools that have the potential to contribute to the capacity building of parole officers and professionals that work inside and outside prison as well as NGO professionals and/or volunteers working with ex-prisoners.

Hence, the project RE[ENTER] aims to fill the gaps that emerge from the lack of effective services provided to prisoners and ex-prisoners and to strengthen the capacity of professionals and volunteers that work at relevant to the prisoners’ fields and contexts.

The exchange of good practices among partners will allow the provision of more efficient, credible and valid services to prisoners and ex-prisoners.

The RE[ENTER] project is promoted by Freedom Gate (Greece) and counts with IPS Innovative Prison Systems (Portugal), IJJO Observatoire International de Justice Juvenile (Belgium), UISP Comitato Territoriale Cirie Settimo Chivasso (Italy), C.I.P. Citizens In Power (Cyprus), University of Thessaly (Greece), SILTA Valmennus (Finland), AJSPT Asociația Județeană Sportul Pentru Toți Suceava (Romania), and European Strategies Consulting (Romania) as partners.
