Gonçalo Almeida Garret

Gonçalo Almeida Garrett holds a master’s in business administration from ISCTE/INDEG and a wealth of international experience. ​

His career began in Ireland in 2007 with ICEP (now AICEP, the Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency), where he specialized in consulting and aiding Portuguese companies in the Irish market. During this period, he specialized in Finance at the University College Dublin. Subsequently, Gonçalo pursued a Master’s in Chinese Language (Mandarin) through a scholarship from the Confucius Institute, studying at the University of Qufu in Shandong and completing his studies at JiaoTong University in Shanghai. ​

During his time in Asia, held roles such as Purchasing Manager at Wurth Shanghai and later served as the Country Manager of PECOL and ACAIL Group companies in China.​

In 2019, returned to Portugal and assumed the position of Director at Bluebiz Industrial Park (AICEP Global Parques). From 2023, Gonçalo worked in business development for the North American market of a major industrial company.​

Currently, based in Toronto, not exclusively, but with a particular focus on the HORUS 360 iOMS and the North American market, Gonçalo leverages his expertise in bidding and tender management to drive success for IPS.​
