Joana Pinho

Joana Pinho holds a Master’s in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Porto’s University.
Joana has previously worked as a legal advisor and policy officer with experience in European affairs and law, particularly in judicial cooperation in criminal matters, digitalization of justice, and human rights.
Previous professional experiences include serving as Policy Officer for Justice and Home Affairs at the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the EU during the Portuguese Presidency of the Council, Policy Officer for the area of democracy and human rights at the Delegation of the European Union to Cabo Verde, and, more recently, as a legal advisor in the area of judicial cooperation for criminal matters and digitalization of justice at the Directorate-General for Justice Policy of the Portuguese Ministry of Justice.
