Raquel Albuquerque

Communications & Digital Marketing Specialist

Raquel Albuquerque holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Beira Interior (Portugal) and a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nova University of Lisbon. Her career began with an internship at a European association dedicated to promoting human rights, active citizenship, and education. There, she actively contributed to the organization’s communication efforts, shaping her expertise in crafting effective communication strategies.

Subsequently, Raquel served as a Content Editor for an NGO focused on human rights, where she further honed her skills in content creation and editorial work. Her most recent position before joining our team was in the Communication & Governmental Affairs Department at multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, where she gained significant experience in corporate communications and governmental affairs.

In her current role, Raquel focuses on advancing the marketing communications initiatives of the Corrections Learning Academy, JUSTICE TRENDS Magazine, and IPS’ projects.
